Robert "Bob" Wills

Mayor Robert “Bob” Wills has been a resident of Bay Minette for more than 40 years. He is married to Betty Lou Mitchell Wills and they have three children and nine grandchildren, all living in Bay Minette. He is a 1970 graduate of Auburn University with a B. S. in economics and a graduate from Emory University School of Law with a J. D. in 1973. He is a partner in the law firm of Wills & Simon. Mayor Wills is a Member of the First United Methodist Church of Bay Minette where he serves as a choir member and Sunday school teacher.


District 1

Danleigh Corbett

Danleigh Corbett has lived in Bay Minette for more than 65 years. He is married to Anne Halliday Corbett and they have five children, 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Corbett is a graduate of Baldwin County High School and all five of his children are also graduates of BCHS. He later attended Marion Military Institute. Corbett is in his second term as member of the Bay Minette City Council. He serves on the Bay Minette Beautification Committee and the Industrial Development Board. He is the owner of Bay Technical Building Systems. He attends St. Agatha Catholic Church.


District 2

Kathy Dobbins

Kathy Dobbins was born and raised in Mississippi and has lived in Bay Minette for more than 20 years. She is the mother of two children: Wil and Grace. She is the president of Dobbins Builders Inc. in Bay Minette. She has been a long-time volunteer with the American Red Cross, South Alabama Chapter.


District 3

John W. Biggs

Johnny Biggs is a long-time resident of Bay Minette. He is the owner of The Print Shop in Bay Minette, and has been involved in numerous community projects, including Bay Minette Youth Baseball League. He is currently in his second term as a member of the Bay Minette City Council.


District 4

Dollie Mims

Dollie Mims has lived in Bay Minette most of her life. She has five children, 15 grandchildren, one great-grandchild and one godchild. She has served as a foster parent for more than 39 children. She is a member of the Department of Human Resource’s Baldwin Advisory Committee and Quality Assurance Committee. She is a member of the Douglasville Historical Committee and the North Baldwin Chamber of Commerce. Mrs. Mims is also the past-president of the Alabama Foster Parents Association.


District 5

Chris Norman

Council member Chris Norman is 53 years old and is a life long resident of Bay Minette. He has been married for 23 years to Donnise Jean Hill Norman. They are the parents of two children and have one grandchild. Council member Norman is a 1984 graduate of Alabama State University with a B.S. in Sociology and a 2000 graduate of Troy University with a M.S. in Criminal Justice. He is currently the Division Director of the Interstate Compact for Adult Offender Supervision at the Alabama Board of Pardons and Paroles. He is a member of Trinity Chapel AME Church and a member of the Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity.
